La Central
A huge variety of books are on offer in this two storey shop. All the latest international fiction titles are available, some in their original language, others as translations. Extensive non-fiction sections include art, social history, cinema, biography and literary theory, with many titles in English and French. The staff are often busy behind their desks in one of the shop’s many nooks but are happy to help when prompted. La Central has two other branches in the city, one in the MACBA, and also sells some CDs.
