Chan See Shu Yuen Chinese Temple
This colourful temple was built in 1906, and is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Malaysia. The architecture is heavily Chinese, and has a pottery roof in the Qing Dynasty style. A favourite feature of this temple is the display of terracotta friezes displaying scenes from Chinese history and mythology. The temple is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00, but you should come and visit in the mornings when it is at its busiest – Malaysian Chinese of all generations come here to ask the Goddess of Fortune to answer their prayers.
