There are modern shopping malls like Marina Mall, Al Fanar, Mahalab and Souk Sharq as well as large department stores like Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Sears and Jashanmal, all offering a wide variety of clothes, shoes, perfume and accessories. If you’re looking for cultural items then head for the souks. The most famous is The Old Souk in downtown Kuwait, which can occupy you for hours. Alternatively, visit the Friday Market where you can easily spend a whole day wandering around.
