Kamakura Tour
A guided trip to enthralling Kamakura can be organised through Tokyo City Tour. Home to the iconic bronze Buddha, no Tokyoite should miss a chance to see this gargantuan deity. Aside from this breathtaking statue there is also the Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine and Kenchōji temple. The van ride from Tokyo takes roughly two hours and costs ¥12,000 for adults and ¥9,000 for kids. Lunch is not included but there are many fine traditional Japanese dining options in the area. The tour is conducted on Fridays and Saturdays only.
